#Vampire and #Werewolf #Prejudice

Last night I had one of my many strange dreams, but this time, Nicolas Cage was chasing me around a church and he was a werewolf.  He was in love with me and trying to possess me as his own (hands clasped, staring upward). The police detectives were outside trying to get into the church to save me, but Nicolas had me trapped inside this beautiful cathedral. What the???

Lycanthropes

In my opinion #werewolves are highly underrated by #Hollywood.  These beastly creatures have been recently featured in films such as Twilight and Underworld, however the beautifully, fearsome beings (with the potential to be very sexy) are always the easiest to kill and enslave, while #vampires continue to  reign as royalty in the world of unearthly creatures.

I think this speaks to our desire for romance and love as opposed to animal rage and uncontrolled passion.  It would be great if just for once someone would do a movie where werewolves reign supreme and are in control.


Perhaps this is the key:  women are naturally afraid of large hairy beasts like bears, lions, wild dogs, hyenas, etc. and scriptwriters have to make sure these productions appeal to us.  Vampires are human and typically very good looking, romantic and full of passion. Even the old vampires in all the movies have great bone structure and they are never fat, no matter how much cholesterol is in their bloody beverages.

Werewolves, on the other hand, are anything other than slim and trim with their oversize, muscular bodies and long, threatening claws.  Ewwwwww, scary!

Nicolas Cage

Now here's a bit more about my dream last night where Nicolas Cage starred as a werewolf chasing me around the interior of a church to make me his own.  Okay, I'll admit I was a bit horny when I went to bed and I try not to be (to avoid these kinds of dreams), but I was too lazy to do anything about it so I went to sleep anyway.  I remember in the #dream that even though I was curious about Nicolas, he was quite frightening, which made me feel I had to hide under one of the church pews near where the deacons sit, even though he sniffed me out anyway.

I love Nicolas because he evolved as an actor on the big screen right before my eyes, and anyone who purchases a haunted house in New Orleans has to be daring. Also, Nicolas has gone from playing virginal, good-guy roles to dramatically, awesome leading male characters and his face is stronger and more handsome than ever, even though I still loved him in films like It Could Happen to You.  Nicolas has definitely become more beautiful with age and facial hair suits him to a tee.

Well that's it for now and if anyone from Hollywood is reading this blog, let's make it happen.  I'll write the script since I've seen and starred in the movie (in my dreams, at least)!

PS:  This blog post was written on 9/19/12, which was almost exactly two years ago.  I have recently learned that Nicolas will be starring in a movie called "Left Behind"(AD), which comes out Friday and this post about a werewolf in the church in no way has anything to do with that!!!
